I have analyzed the tracker from Rajiv Khanna's site. Here are some inputs.
Cases transferred from federal offices :
There is no set trend in processing of these cases. There are a substantial number of approvals.
Cases transferred from SWA offices :
There is clear trend here. The last 3/4 months PBEC has sent out approvals from mid 2002. There are a number of PD June 2002 approvals and some PD July, august, september '02. There is an effort to push mid 2002 cases in PBEC.
The folks left over from 2001 may receive NOF or some query. I am not sure.
If you are a SWA cases from 2001 you should be talking to someone...your lawyer...employer...

I am seeing a lot of folks predicting the EB2 dates. And I believe they are right in doing so since that is their filign category. What I am asking is if there are any prediction regarding EB3-I. The dates are not moving at all which is absolutely frustating.

And this is because we always believed in our minds that we are nothing but a bunch of opportunists coming together for our individual cause of getting a GC. What we see today is an outcome of what we always believed. Soon EB2 will disappear, and EB3 will be left alone fighting for their GC's. And at some point of time they will also go away, all that's left will be "guests" using IV as a discussion forum. May be what I suggested can be termed as "Quixotic" but unless we aim high, we will never reach high.

The economic stimulus package just provides a one time rebate check. Imagine the rebate you would get on EAD and AP renewals if we all support IV and get the 3 yr EAD/AP admin fix accomplished. A saving of $645 / person ($305 - AP, $340 - EAD) for 2 out of 3 years. There is no AGI limit or SSN limitation for getting this rebate :D
If IV is able to accomplish few other items on the admin fix campaign like recapture of visas. The dates will move forward and more ppl will get GC's aand hence those folks who have spouses with ITIN now will be eligible for SSN then. If you aren't eligible for the rebate in 2007 tax return, you can claim the tax rebate on U'r 2008 tax return (provided U are eligible then).
Quite a few GC applicant's dependents are eligible for the tax rebate due to IV's efforts which enabled them to file for AOS in July 2007 and subsequently receive EAD and SSN. We should give back a few percentage of that tax rebate to IV in the form of contribution.

One of my friend got receipt for I-140 and I-1485, He send on July 30th to Nebraska Service center. I have send on the 2nd July still waiting.
